Can Others See the Change?

Yesterday the Lord gave me a thought from (2 Cor. 3:18) “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory…”

Today I want to focus on this phrase: “But we all…are changed…”

Some brag about the fact that after X amount of years, they have not changed. I’m not so sure that is a good thing. Now, hear me out… while I DO believe that God and His Word never changes, we as believers SHOULD be changing. We are to be changing “into the same image,” the image of Jesus Christ. Consider these two thoughts the Lord gave me.

1. I HAVE BEEN CHANGED.
At salvation, there was a radical change that took place in my life (2 Cor. 5:17). The fact about the matter is, if your life has not been changed, you have not been saved! I have already been changed at salvation.

2. I AM TO BE CHANGING.
Paul said, “we all…are changed.” That included himself! We are to be changing “from glory to glory.” Just as I was changed by God’s glory at salvation, I am to be constantly changing into His image through sanctification.

Friend, if you are not changing, you are not growing! Now, not all change is good change. But any change that makes you more like Jesus is a good change. My question to you is… can others see the change in you?
