Jude 1:20-21
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God…
Jude says that one way we keep ourselves “in the love of God” is by “praying in the Holy Ghost.” In other words, if your love for God has grown cold, ask yourself these two questions:
𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩: “𝘼𝙢 𝙄 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜?” Your love for God will never rise above your prayer life. You cannot expect to grow in your love for a God you never talk to.
𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙙: “𝘼𝙢 𝙄 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙮 𝙂𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙩?” Is my prayer life guided and led by the Holy Spirit. Sadly, for most people, when they DO pray, their prayers are in the FLESH more than in the Holy Ghost.
Yield yourself to God this morning. Let His Spirit lead you in your prayer time and before you know it, your love for God will grow!
