(Psalm 146:5) “Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:”
This one verse contains the three things people most seek for in life: HELP, HOPE, and HAPPINESS. Many think happiness comes from a large bank account, a new home, or obtaining more stuff. But the Bible says, “Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help…”
You will never truly be happy without God being your help. When you try to solve your own problems, you will end up with greater problems.
The last thing it says is “Happy is he… whose hope is in the LORD his God.” Is God your LORD? Meaning, have you trusted Him as your Savior? If not, you really do not have HOPE. And if you do not have Him as your HOPE, you do not have Him as your HELP.
When the LORD is your HELP for the PRESENT, and your HOPE for the FUTURE, that will bring your true HAPPINESS.
Today, check up and see where your HELP, HOPE, and HAPPINESS are. If they are missing, your can find them all in JESUS!
