This is so true. If there is one thing that is hindering more prayer from being answered, it is sin in the life of the believer. The Bible says, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me” (Ps. 66:18). It’s not that God CANNOT hear you, but that He WILL NOT hear you. He will not give a hearing to the person who is praying with sin in their life.
Repentance is necessary for true revival because God will not send revival to a dirty vessel.
