Day #14 – (30 Days of Prayer)

“Prayer isn’t bothering God, bargaining with God, borrowing from God, or burdening God. True prayer is blessing the Father because we love Him, trust Him, and know that He will meet our needs, so we come and ask.” – Warren Wiersbe

Satan has given us such a bad view of God. Even in the Garden of Eden Satan lied about God’s character when he said to Eve, “God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Gen. 3:5).

In other words, he was trying to make God out to be some mean God who doesn’t really want the best for His children. He wants us to think God is somehow holding out on us. But that is not how our heavenly Father is at all!

He loves us more than we could ever know and you can rest assured that when you come to Him in prayer, He is eager to hear what you have to say and even more eager to answer you according to His will.
