It was just one of those days when God just moves in! Yesterday was our 9th Annual 911 Honor Service where we honored all Emergency Services Personnel. We were praying for a great day, but God even exceeded OUR expectations! I was reminded that we serve a God Who “is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Eph. 3:20).
We had 64 personnel in attendance, including the Sheriff and Chief of Police. There were over 284 people total in attendance. We also had a young couple join the church, as well. But the most exciting part by far was not the big crowd or the wonderful food; it was the three souls that trusted Christ as their personal Savior, two of which were Law Enforcement!.
Then on Sunday night, it seemed God just decided to move in again. What a service!
I want to thank ALL the wonderful people at Community Baptist Church for all the hard work and dedication they showed at our church. You not only made your pastor proud, but you did the Lord proud, as well!
Filled to over-flowing? Yes, the building was full of people, but I am not talking about the building, I am talking about my spirit! By the time I came home last night I was thoroughly exhausted, but I was filled to over-flowing at what God had done!
