“..neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.” (Matt. 11:27)
My wife and I enjoy watching those home improvement shows on TV. We especially like the part where the hosts of the show finally do the big reveal, letting the home-owners see all the changes that have been made to their home.
Big reveals can be exciting!
Our verse today says that the only way man can know anything about our heavenly Father is if the Son (Jesus Christ) reveals Him to us. But the same thing is true for us, as well. The only way the lost around us will ever know anything about Jesus is if WE reveal Him to them.
The problem is…the average Christian today does more CONCEALING than REVEALING! The apostle Paul said, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost” (2Cor. 4:3).
So, here’s the question for today: Are you revealing Jesus to those around you? Will you conceal Jesus or reveal Jesus by the way you act and talk around others, today?
