Day #15 – (30 Days of Prayer)

“The church has many organizers, but few agonizers; many who pay, but few who pray. Tithes may build a church, but tears will give it life. That is the difference between the modern church and the early church. Our emphasis is on paying, theirs was on praying. When we have payed, the place is taken. When they had prayed, the place was shaken!” – Leonard Ravenhill

Sadly, the church of today knows very little of sacrifice and toil in prayer. “Intercessory Prayer” is largely unknown in today’s Christian circles. Yet, almost every prayer the apostle Paul prayed was for others.

Prayer, especially intercessory praying, is work…hard work! It is not for the faint or the squeamish. It takes real men and real woman of faith to pray believing God will hear and answer their prayers. Will you be that man or woman?
