He’s in the Midst

(Rev 2:1) “..These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the MIDST of the seven golden candlesticks;”

Jesus said He is walking “in the midst” of the churches. He’s not necessarily WORKING in all the churches, because not every church will let Him work in there. He’s not working in them all, but He is WALKING ‘in the midst” of them all and watching what they’re doing.

Listen, it will change the way you live; it will change the way you work, it will change the way you worship when you realize Jesus is “IN THE MIDST” of everything you do.

►SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS… it will change the way you teach Sunday School when you realize Jesus is “in the midst” of your class.
►SINGERS… it will change the way you sing when you realize Jesus is “in the midst” of the church listening to your song.
►PREACHERS… it may change the way you preach when you realize Jesus is “in the midst” listening to see if you are preaching His Word, or your opinion!

He is “in the midst” of the pews watching to see if you are too busy talking, texting, or checking Facebook to hear the preaching. He’s “in the midst” of the altar, seeing if you will respond to His calling. He’s “in the midst” of every church business meeting to see if there is unity or just fussing and fighting.

Don’t forget, as you go about your day, today, that Jesus is “in the midst.”
