It’s All Good

Have you ever wished you could have a “perfect” day? If you’re like me, there are days where so many things begin to go wrong that you wish you could just start the day all over again!

So, if you COULD have a perfect day, what would it be like? How would you describe a good day? It’s interesting how God describes a good day.

“And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” (Gen. 1:5)

Did you catch that? He said, “the evening and the morning were the first day.” Hold on. Something doesn’t sound right. That seems backwards, doesn’t it?

Actually it is backwards…to us, but not to God. See, man’s idea of a day begins with morning and ends with the evening. It is a progression from light to darkness. God’s day is different, it begins with evening and ends with the morning. The progression is from darkness to light!

That is how it is with a child of God…we are not traveling from light to darkness; we are travelling from darkness to light! Acts 26:18 says, “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”

So, when you look at even your worst day in that light, IT’S ALL GOOD!
