No, it’s not your dental appointment, your hair appointment, or the appointment you have to get your oil changed. I’m talking about a MUCH BIGGER appointment you have coming up.
Your appointment to stand at THE JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST! (2 Cor 5:10) says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
If you are saved, you have an appointment to stand before God and give account of EVERYTHING you did while you were in this body. We will give account of every thought, word, and deed!
Jesus said in Matt 12:36, “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” That means you will give account of:
* Every Facebook message you post.
* Every Twitter message you tweet.
* Every picture you post on Instagram or Facebook
* Every phone call you make to gossip about someone
In fact, the Bible even goes further and says that “God shall bring every work into judgment, with every SECRET THING, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (Ecc. 12:14).
Friend…I don’t know about you, but that is a scary thought to me. That makes me want to be absolutely sure that when I stand before God, I have done everything in my power to live a clean, holy life that is without reproach.
