1Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Sunday, I began a sermon series on “Fighting for the Faith.” We specifically talked about “A Fight for Right.” Too often, God’s people are engaged in the wrong kind of fight; they are fighting the pastor or other church members. But that isn’t the fight God has called us to. Paul told Timothy to “Fight the good fight of faith…”
I am not your enemy. Another church member is not your enemy. Your employer is not your enemy. So, who IS our enemy? SATAN! The Bible says Satan’s desire is “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10).
As you go about your day, today, remember the stand for truth; stand for right. You have a faith worth defending, so fight for right, today!
