Higher Thinking!

(Isa. 55:7) “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts…”

Today, Satan may tempt you to entertain “unrighteous” thoughts. Maybe he will tempt you to have thoughts of lust, anger, fear, or bitterness. What are we to do when these thoughts come into our mind? God says we are to forsake them. But you must replace them with something better. What’s better? GOD’S THOUGHTS!

God said in (v.8) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.” He wants us to replace those “unrighteous” thoughts with His “righteous” thoughts. If we do not keep our minds actively thinking right, Satan will fill them with thoughts that are sinful and wrong.

(Phil. 4:8) “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
