“And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.” (Isa. 59:14)
The Bible says that because “truth is fallen in the street,” “judgment is turned away.” There can be NO right judgment without truth. You wonder why it seems our law-makers, government leaders and Supreme Court Judges aren’t making right judgments many times? It’s because we’ve let truth fall in the street.
The problem is not that we no longer HAVE the truth, but that the truth we DO HAVE “is fallen in the street.”
Truth has been kicked out of the SCHOOL HOUSE, removed from the COURTHOUSE, is not welcomed in the WHITE HOUSE, and now it’s even watered down in the CHURCH HOUSE!
But THERE’S GOOD NEWS! Truth has fallen in the street, but truth is not DEAD! Truth CAN get back up!
Friend, at school, at work, wherever you go, “truth is fallen in the street.” God is looking for someone who will say, “By God’s grace, I’ll lift the truth up, again.”
Jesus said, “I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life…” This lost world needs to hear the truth. Will you lift it up today, or will you let truth stay fallen in the street?
