“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” (Rom 15:13)
I was thinking about a message I heard recently on Job. If ever there was a person who could have felt hopeless and helpless it was Job.
I’m glad to say that when life overwhelms us, and the dark shadow of circumstances seem to shout to us, “All hope is gone!” there is a God in heaven to Whom we can turn who Paul called “the God of HOPE!”
Yes, Satan may tell you there is no hope. And with him there isn’t any. But for a child of God, things are never hopeLESS, they are hopeFUL because we serve a God Who is “the God of hope!”
● The FIRE cannot burn you because He is the WATER of life that puts the fire out!
● The STORM cannot harm you because He speaks PEACE and the storm obeys His will.
● The DARKNESS cannot overtake you because He is the LIGHT of the world!
● The WAVES cannot drown you because He WALKS ON THE WATER!!!
Remember today that whatever may come, you serve “the God of HOPE.”
